A wine that comes from the careful selection of Merlot grapes grown in the vineyards located south of the Bellalma company. The clayey soils give the grapes an excellent degree of ripeness without however reaching high alcoholic degrees.

The winemaking

The grapes are harvested and immediately processed. The pressing is soft and the subsequent fermentation allows for an intense extraction of polyphenols. After twenty days, after racking the best part of the wine is separated to begin the refinement which lasts 8 months in steel on the fine lees.

The Wine

Martincolle has an intense color with important purple reflections. A wine with an unmistakable character. The nose is fruity with notes of currant and hints of cherries in alcohol. In the mouth it is affable, soft and in the finish it yields to the structure. The tannins are powerful and at the same time soft.
